Much like some of its characters, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is the movie that just won't die. And for good reason. As much an outlandish community gathering as a film screening, midnight showings of the film are frequently accompanied by live performances, audience participation and a lot of throwing things at the screen. The Balboa Performing Arts Theater presents the Rocky Horror Time Warp Party in an effort to raise funds to reopen as a multi-use performing-arts-and-film center. Guests will enjoy a screening with newly restored picture and sound, dinner, and (brace yourself) an open bar . . . so you can bet someone's going to be stripping down to their undies before the night's over.
