There comes a time in everyone’s life where things start to lose their luster—enter the well-known midlife crisis. For 30-somethings Greg and Kristi, whose marriage is starting to show some wear, this event comes a little earlier than most. They decide it’s time to escape and leave their Midwest upbringing behind and head out west. But their supposed romantic, cross-country ride to freedom quickly goes downhill as the couple is forced to re-evaluate their lives. The West Coast premiere of Great Western Wanderlust, written by Eric Eberwein and directed by Anthony Galleran, is sure to have you contemplating your own midlife crisis—but in a good way.
