The OC Fair may have packed it in for another year, but events at the fairgrounds go on. A fixture in the San Diego design and craft show circuit for the last few years, the Thread show is now branching out to bring more than 100 indie designers to Orange County.

Thread takes place on Sunday, August 22 from 11a.m.-6 p.m. Admission is $10, which gets you fashion shows, music, drink specials, free magazines and some good ol' fashioned fun times. Plus, if you're one of the first 250 people in the door you'll get a free gift bag. You can also click here to RSVP and get in for a mere $5!
If you forget to RSVP, never fear–there's two more ways to get in for cheaper. Donate clothes to charity at the door or take public transportation and show a ticket stub, and you'll get in for $8.
And who can you expect to see showcasing their designs at Thread? Mens and womens wear from companies like Detroit Sprinkles, Skullastic and Belladonna Marie will be there, as well as accessories, bags and shoes from VintageRemade, One Girl's Party and PocketFlops.
