The last month of summer is upon us, and if you're looking for a way to get your learn on before heading back to school next month we've got you covered with a whole slew of craft classes available in and around Orange County!
Santa Monica's Urban Craft Center never disappoints with a schedule chock full of new skills to pick up. This month includes more basic feeling classes like Candlemaking, Intro to Knitting, and Embroidery 101, as well as more advanced-sounding, exotic classes like creating jewelry that has a scientific molecular feel, Circuit Bending 101, and a mysterious class called Trapunto. The class description describes Trapunto as a “quilting technique right out of the 70's”, where students will create a panel with several raised images within it. After the jump, more crafty classes taking place this month in Orange County (and beyond).
