Eddie Griffin

If you consider yourself a fan of slapstick comedy, you've probably seen Eddie Griffin's knack for showcasing his talent as a hilarious, hyper-active hustler with a heart of gold. But as much as you might think you have his style pegged, you haven't seen anything until you watch his stand-up. On stage, Griffin's five-foot-nothing frame is a force to be reckoned with as he darts all over the stage with an arsenal of quick-witted humor that packs a potent mixture of theatrics, masterful swearing and real life social observations. Griffin has spent much of his career earning his stripes in television and film on the show Malcolm and Eddie (which earned him an NAACP Image Award nod) and movies like Undercover Brother, Scary Movie 3 and Norbit. His stand-up act also draws comparisons of comedic greats like Richard Pryor, Red Foxx and Lenny Bruce.
