You are the golfer who was perched at the side of the road, about to drive a ball back in the general direction of the golf course. The problem was you were more or less facing oncoming traffic. I had one of those moments, as if a cartoon golf ball was headed at the TV screen, and I just about ducked to get out of the way. Seriously, dude?! If you can't keep the ball on the course and you're at the edge of the road, well beyond the worst sand trap or algae-ridden pond, then you're probably not the best golfer. Pick up your ball and walk it somewhere else because you're making everyone nervous when they see you swing your club back behind your head with all the confidence of a toddler holding a whiffle bat.
