Rolly Crump began his career at Disney as an animation inbetweener, but he soon made his way to WED (what is now called Disney Imagineering). While there, Crump contributed to many of Disneyland's attractions.
Here he appears with Walt in a short video outlining what would become the Haunted Mansion (at the time, they referred to the project as the Museum of the Weird).
Crump was also one of two Imagineers credited with the design of one of my favorite pieces at Disneyland: the wallpaper in the Haunted Mansion. Love it!
Rolly is now in the process of writing a memoir with the help of author Jeff Heimbuch, and they need the help of all you fellow Disnerds in tracking down old photographs of Crump's work.
Specifically, they are looking for photos of:
Adventureland Bazaar in 1963Tower of Four WindsEnchanted Tiki Room in the 1960sIt's A Small World at World's FairThe Land in 1980sBear-y Tales at Knott's Berry FarmCircus World
Basically, they're looking for any of Crump's work that appeared in the parks over the decades.
