Whether you love or hate hardcore, you have to admire their work ethic. Unlike so many bands these days that start with a commercial deal then build a career from there, hardcore bands actually have to pay their dues. And D.C. band Darkest Hour has been paying to play since 1998. And they made a name for themselves through relentless touring in podunk towns. You'd be hard pressed to find Apple Computers or Visa courting these guys for spots due to their furious metallic guitars, raging vocals and politically critical lyrical material.
