While many in the dance community consider this to be the “Coachella for the dance world,” there's one thing Dancerpalooza has over any desert music festival, no matter how globally trendy: air-conditioning. Held at the Long Beach Convention Center, Dancerpalooza is a six-day extravaganza of all things dance. There are crash-course intensive workshops, a three-day Beat Street expo hall and performance stage (held over the weekend), nightly shows from some of the hottest acts in the business, film screenings and more. Whether you're into tap, hip-hop, ballet or contemporary styles—or maybe you just like unitards—Dancerpalooza brings it all together under one roof.
