Daddy Long Legs

If you’re of the Gothic-Victorian-loving ilk, this production (from the guys who brought you Les Misérables , Nicholas Nickleby and Jane Eyre ) should have your petticoats in a whirl. Set in turn-of-the-century New England, the tale from Tony and Olivier award-winning director John Caird and Tony-nominated composer/lyricist Paul Gordon revolves around an orphaned gal who gets a lucky break when a rich, anonymous benefactor she nicknames Daddy Long Legs sends her to a prestigious college. Once there, she’s on her way to self-discovery, self-sufficiency, education and romance. See? College is fun!

Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Tuesdays-Thursdays, 7:30 p.m. Starts: Nov. 5. Continues through Nov. 21, 2010
