'Cultural Treasures of Mexico'

“Cultural Treasures of Mexico: The PhurĂ©pecha of Parangaricutiro,” the latest exhibit from Cal State Fullerton's Anthropology Teaching Museum, features a pre-Hispanic and contemporary civilizations from the Michoacán, Mexico, region. Alongside artifacts on loan from Bowers Museum, the exhibit features information about the explosion of the Paricutin Volcano, the first recorded birth of a volcano in the Americas.

Mondays-Fridays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Starts: May 13. Continues through Dec. 22, 2011
