'Conversation With…The Legacy Project'

As part of the First Thursdays Laguna Art Walk, the art community's museum raises the creative bar with their “Conversation With…” series. Guest artists give insightful, informal lectures on any number of topics—this week, photographers Mark Chamberlain, Jacques Garnier, Robert Johnson, Douglas McCulloh, Clayton Spada, and Tyler Stallings discuss the Legacy Project, an organization that documented the former El Toro Marine Corps Air Station's metamorphosis into the current Great Park. Among the group's 200,000-plus images includes the world’s largest photograph, a 32-by-111-foot shot of the Air Station in greyscale titled “The Great Picture.” Following the lecture is a mixer for attendees to enjoy some libations and explore the Laguna Art Museum's current exhibits.
