For those sporting an unemployment beard (what are we at, eleventy-nine percet now?), here’s a chance to unite—for free. With proof of unemployment and reservations made before 6 p.m., you can get into the Laugh Factory’s Continuous Comedy event without charge. Helping you chuckle away those ain’t-got-no-job blues, the night features standup routines from four to five up-and-coming comics. Previous Continuous Comedy comedians have included Tony Rock, younger brother of comedian/actor/writer/producer Chris Rock; Chris Reid, one half of the late ‘80s/early ‘90s hip-hop duo Kid ‘n Play (seriously, he’s a comedian); Alonzo Bodden, Season 3 winner of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and Jay Davis, known for his apperance in Dane Cook’s Tourgasm. No matter the lineup of comedians, the night will surely be filled with—you guessed it—continuous comedy.
