Connecting With Joan Jett, In Illustrated Form

Congratulations to Joan Jett & the Blackhearts who are among the 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees! Other musicians and bands to be honored include Ringo Starr, Lou Reed, Green Day, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, Bill Withers and the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, and The “5” Royales.

“Playing 'I Love Rock and Roll' would be a lot of fun,” Jett told Rolling Stone. “It would speak to what a lot of us have dedicated our lives to, this music called rock & roll. I think it would be appropriate. I've always sort of kept that song away, but I think in this instance it would be a perfect…”

The Who just announced Joan Jett & the Blackhearts will be the opening act for the North American tour dates during their Who Hits 50! Tour.
