Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez is getting' hitched in Santa Ana on Saturday.
Who's the lucky dude? Attorney, lobbyist and retired Army Col. Jack Einwechter.
The OC Register's political reporter Martin Wisckol reports that the press was not invited. (Way to crush the dreams of every newspaperman in the county, Loretta!)
Wisckol also writes that although Sanchez served on the House Armed Services Committee, he's “seen no evidence that there is any political business relationship between the couple.”

Of course, there's no time for a honeymoon, since Congress has a vote on Monday and because the newlyweds have to get to their Christmas card planning STAT.
Well wishes to the couple and here are a few things we hope for on Loretta's behalf:
- That her marriage is more successful than her epic fail of a book deal
- That a ring on her finger will help shut up the geezers at The Lincoln Club that sent out mailers last year bashing Sanchez for, among other things, being “flirty“
- That having a wedding the weekend of the fated Carmaggedon doesn't mean her entire guest list spends more time on jam-packed streets than at the ceremony
- And, that her relationship with her soon-to-be hubby is only half as contentious as the one she has with Van Tran.
