Coheed and Cambria at the Fox Theater on May 4

After Coheed and Cambria scored a coveted main stage slot at Coachella (as one of the few metal bands on the bill, no less), they come back to SoCal for a victory lap this Tuesday, May 4. The Fox Theater show in Pomona is sold-out, which means you're going to have to lurk around the venue the day of the show or troll Craigslist if you want to watch them. Coheed is touring in support of their latest opus, Year of The Black Rainbow that included a 352-page novel co-authored by lead singer and certified guitar shredder Claudio Sanchez.

If you hang out after the show long enough, you could ask Sanchez about
his insane comic book storyline “The Amory Wars” and how it draws
parallels from Greek mythology along with serving as an inspiration to
creating his music. If you miss him, Sanchez will most likely make a
stop at Comic Con in July.

Make sure you show up early to catch Torche who will soften up your
eardrums with selections from their “doom-pop” masterpiece Meanderthal.
Circa Survive will have the unenviable task of following Torche but
have garnered solid reviews on their latest release, Blue Sky Noise.

Who will win in this all out slug fest? Stay tuned for my review and
keeping checking Ticketmaster as they could possibly release some last
minute tickets a day before the show.
