TRASHed at the Camp

As if a slew of inventive green programs wasn’t reason enough to visit TRASHed—a multipurpose space at the Camp helmed by the nonprofit organization Global Inheritance—there’s the weekly music series “Cans N Bands.” Not just a nifty way to wind down Sunday nights, the series features ace all-ages bills from around the proverbial corner. This week’s got shambling poppers Big Whup and twangy psych cadets Land ‘N’ Sea from L.A., Matt Adams from San Francisco’s dreamy outfit the Blank Tapes, and D.A. Humphrey of Santa Ana’s the Flying Saucers. Like other weeks, the admission is five bucks or 10 cans of food for donation (to the OC Rescue Mission) and DJ Oldboy spins between bands. In other words? Coolest. Food drive. Ever.
