Jim Breuer made a name for himself in the late 90s when he became a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live. His character, Goat Boy, a bleating, half-goat outcast, was an instant success and secured Breuer a spot in the SNL water cooler pantheon. Then, in 1998, Breuer left SNL and, like most cast members, fell off the radar. A few years later, he re-emerged on the stand-up circuit. However, audiences expecting the return of Goat Boy were in for a surprise. Though Breuer’s act was still imbued with his profane frat boy sensibility, he was now a family man, and he shared hilarious and heartfelt takes on love, marriage, and family life. It’s a perfect show for young couples, but trust us, leave the kids at home.
