Faust with Live Score

There’s nothing more jacked-up than making a bet with someone about how they can ruin your life. Oh, and if you fail, you’ll be turning the world over to Satan. Who does that?! Ask poor Faust, the title character of this 1926 film. He saves his village after Satan goes on a rampage, throwing plagues around like they were dirty socks. Shit goes down, and Faust ends up making a pact with Satan. What could possibly go wrong? But then it’s snow and fire and just an overall really bad day for everyone involved. Pour some scorching brimstone, angels and demons, empty promises, and despair into a beaker and you get a recipe for disaster. Hell, yeah. Pun intended.
