Animal House Screening with Chris Miller

What can be said about National Lampoon’s Animal House that hasn’t been said already? How about the fact that it’s the rare kind of movie that continues to pay dividends as the years go by? Most films from our youth don’t withstand the test of time, but Animal House actually gets better with age. Dubious? Then come down to a screening of the film at Chapman University’s Folino Theater where, following the show, co-writer Chris Miller will answer your questions and regale you with his own horror stories of fraternity life that inspired many of the movie’s scenes. And that’s why it’s so good; instead of going for cheap laughs, the writers remembered the most important, and often overlooked, part of storytelling: Truth. And boobies too, of course.
