Christmas comes early this year for all the comic book nerds out there when top Marvel Comics editor Bill Rosemann makes an appearance at the Big Orange Book Festival. Arguably the highlight of the fest, Rosemann speaks on the Marvel Universe (and introduces a free screening of The Avengers), giving comic-crazies a rare chance to gain insight into the giant from one of its own. The weekend-long literary festival also features talks with popular authors (including Marcia Clark and Kim Stanley Robinson), informative panel discussions and advice on how to make a career in writing. Since this entire event is free of charge (and those seeking a career in writing are generally broke), be sure to arrive early to catch your favorite authors and speakers.
