Every Monday night, Steamers Jazz Club jumps, jives and wails with a rotating lineup of Big Band acts. This week (and every second Monday of the month), one of the genre's local staples, Bill Strout's Big Band 2000, fills the cozy Fullerton club with the brassy, upbeat melodies of an era gone by. Check them out if you're in the mood for a little jazzy swing and just don't want to let go of the weekend yet—or at least to see how many musicians they can cram onstage (with their full lineup plus a sultry vocalist, that number gets dangerously close to 20).
