Three years ago, Bob Tucker and his longtime partner, Quan Nguyen, kissed at Little Saigon's annual Tet Festival New Year's parade on Bolsa Avenue in Westminster. Yet, despite the passage of time, some vocal Vietnamese-American bigots continue to use that display of love—one that happens a trillion times a day in public among straight couples—as the reason to block gays and lesbians from participating in the public event.
