You don’t have to wait around for annual festivals in Anaheim and Irvine to chow down on great Greek food because Kentro’s Greek Kitchen in downtown Fullerton delights all year long. The menu is a palatable plethora of soups, salads, entrées, flatbreads and sweets. Play it safe with pita sandwiches if you must, but don’t be afraid to mispronounce all the multisyllabic menu items. Rewards come in the form of pork souvlaki speared on wood skewers atop wild rice with a side of tzatziki sauce strained 48 hours and mixed with imported Kalamata virgin olive oil. Wash it all down with a bottle of Mythos Greek beer, then top off a perfect outing with loukoumades for dessert.
