Backstreet Boy Tries His Hand At Relevancy and Announces Solo Project

Howie Dorough–better known as Howie D–of Backstreet Boys fame, announced that his new solo album Back To Me will drop this coming November. The tweens of America responded with “Who? That's not Justin Bieber.”

Dorough, who you can catch on the NKOTBSB and the Backstreet Boys Cruise this December, had this to say of the album, “This
is a chance for me to show the full range of my voice and who I am
creatively. I'm 25 percent of the Backstreet Boys, but Back To Me
is one-hundred percent me. I've been blessed to be in the group I am
in, and my experiences have made me who I am. I was able to make this
record because of all that, and it's a dream come true.”

The video to album's first single, “100”, is posted below.

Forget waking up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy, modern girls start their day at the laundromat, rubbing up against a dryer with one of those creepy man-boy extras from Lady Gaga's “Alejandro.” Howie D gets me!

Back to Me also features ballad “Lie to Me” and a ditty co-written by fellow Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, the aptly titled “Pure”.
