Astronaut Dr. Tracy Caldwell Dyson

While being a real-life astronaut is way different than being Sigourney Weaver in Alien (we hope) and is probably more like being Helen Mirren in 2010 (awesome) or like being Sandra Bullock in Gravity (less awesome), the truth is that you have to be some kind of brainiac and durable as hell to G-force your body into zero gravity and live in tiny little compartments, eating liquid food from snack packs and never being able to wash your hair (which will always look like Elsa Lanchester's in The Bride of Frankenstein). But these are just assumptions from terrestrial fools—find out the real deal when astronaut Dr. Tracy Caldwell Dyson (graduate of UCI) talks about her two space voyages, one aboard the Endeavor in 2007, and the other, a six-month-stint on the International Space Station in 2010. This is your chance to totally geek-out on science and space, and envision the limitless possibilities of mankind. Do it.
