The classic adventure novel from famed French author Jules Verne, Around the World in 80 Days was adapted for the stage by Mark Brown, an award-winning writer and actor. First published in 1873, this epic story follows Englishman Phileas Fogg as he takes a £20,000 bet that he's able to successfully travel around the world in only 80 days. Fogg begins this unheard-of journey with his servant, Jean Passepartout, in tow, and is soon followed by a detective who believes Fogg is guilty of robbery. A wild, continent-crossing adventure, of course, ensues. Allison Bibicoff directs this praised adaptation that brings five actors on stage to play to the 39 characters of this world-renowned story.
