A-Maze-ing

The film that dominated the imaginations of many of today’s Gen-Yers, Labyrinth brought together three mighty forces: the music of David Bowie (who wore a full-on Tina Turner wig), the creativity and direction of Jim Henson, and the fresh-faced talent of future stunner Jennifer Connelly. In order to rescue her young charge from Bowie’s Goblin King, baby-sitter Connelly must travel into a tripped-out labyrinth full of singing Muppets. Fans of puppetry, fantasy, Bowie and psychedelic drugs (though usually if you’re a fan of one, you enjoy the others as well) are sure to be satisfied.
