Sure, George Clooney and all his famous pals may have raised something like $60 million from his Hope for Haiti Now telethon, but that doesn't mean the devastated country is even close to getting all the help it needs. This Sunday, the global assistance keeps going strong with the 40 in 4 Haiti Relief fundraiser in El Dorado Park. Sponsored by Long Beach residents working in conjunction with the American Red Cross, every cent of money raised will go directly to the relief fund; the goal is to raise $40 thousand in the four hours of the event. There will be live music, food, and child-friendly entertainment, but the main attraction will be the support of the community—whether it be monetary donations, food donations or simply volunteering your time.
