Wobble, Wobble

If you don't already, you will like Los Angeles' Moving Units. Sure, you'll tell yourself, “But I'm not a dance-music kind of guy.” But then it'll happen. As you hear the first beats drop during “Crash ‘N Burn Victim” from the band's latest release, Hexes for Exes , your ass will wobble. You will lose control of your down-there regions, and you will bust a move mercilessly. You will not be alone. Since the band formed in 2001, Moving Units' mix of post-punk and dance music has been gobbled up like cotton candy: It's sugary, melt-in-your ears madness that defies whatever you thought you hated about dance rock. And just like that, you're that guy! A little advice: There's no parking on the dance floor.
