See You At The Liquid Aloha Fest! Lee Koch Wants To Go Tanning With George Hamilton
We're also letting you preview most of the artists on the lineup; Lee Kochs Q&A is second in the Liquid Aloha Fest Q&A series. Ventura vocalist/guitarist Lee Koch reaches into the American folk past for inspiration. Koch's sound features mournful guitars, wailing harmonicas and bluesy rhythms. Whether your seeing him solo or with the Grinders (Singer/guitarist Koch, drummer Ira Miller and bassist Andrew Flores), you'll be served up some old school rock & roll. His album, Same As Blood was released in 2009 and has a warm, loose feel reminiscent of the Band and the Byrds. His sunny vibe is summed up neatly in the lyrics to his song, "Free For Misery." ("Don't look back, head to the Ocean/Feel that breeze, feel it with my soul").
