Hailing from OC is the country's coolest high-school teacher. Or, you know, the guy who plays him. Today's pop tarts know Cypress native Matthew Morrison as Glee's Will Schuester, the vest-wearing leader of the McKinley High School glee club. But the Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated actor, dancer and crooner has a résumé that sashays far beyond the FOX musical phenomenon. Pre-TV heartthrob, Morrison was a Broadway heartthrob, starring in productions of Hairspray and The Light In the Piazza (for which he was nominated for a Tony Award). This summer, he released his first solo album, which includes a duet with Elton John, and joined NKOTBSB (New Kids on the Block + Backstreet Boys) on their tour as a special guest. Still, the man stays true to his local roots. A 1997 graduate of Orange County High School of the Arts, Morrison routinely returns to the Santa Ana campus for charity events. Can you say Teacher of the Year?
