Zoppé Family Circus

Descending from a long line of circus folk, the Zoppé Family Circus has kept its show frozen in time: Italy, more than a hundred years ago. It all started when a clown fell in love with a ballerina in 1840’s Hungary—the girl’s father did not approve, so the two ran away together to Venice and founded a circus (naturally). Now, the family business is still going strong with it’s old-world traditional formula, and the Zoppé Family Circus tours the States regularly. Coming to Long Beach this week with an intimate 500-seat tent, don’t miss this nostalgic, wholesome circus complete with hobo-style clowns, horse tricks, dancing dogs and lots of audience participation.
