When Oga Garra opens a bar on the planet of Battu (In Disneyland’s new Galaxy’s Edge) all facets of her crime-boss bling are put on display. ABInBev beer brands? Check. Titos Handcrafted Vodka? Check. Uber-sweet fruit-juice heavy cocktails? Check. I guess diabetes is confirmed in galaxies far far away.
Of all the pre-batch on tap concoctions, Yub Nub most warmed my Ewok-like fuzzy belly, even though it could probably be served at Ariel’s Grotto. It’s bright pink like a Cosmo and has festive Malibu pineapple rum, Sailor Jerry’s spiced rum, citrus, passion fruit, and garnished with passion fruit seeds. Although it drinks like a rum cosmo, the Malibu dominates like a Vader neck lift. Even though the cocktail geek inside of me cringed slightly, the Star Wars geek inside of me was a little more excited, and I finished the damn thing before flying the effing Millenium Falcon.
You can even get it served in a souvenir Endor Mug for only $42! Oh, Disneyland.
Other drinks include the Dagobah Slug Slinger, Bespin Fizz, Jet Juice, Fuzzy Tauntaun, Jedi Mind Trick, a T-16 Skyhopper, and the Outer Rim.
