You're not going to find a female-only gallery show at the Museum of Modern Art, much less anywhere else. Yet Display Gallery's newest exhibition 'Young N Restless' culls together some of the best contemporary female artists in one dynamic group show. You've got photographers, painters, and illustrators like Sarah Elise Abramson, Joy Shannon, Jinx, Sydney Walters, and more. There's also a special commemorative joint installation by Janice Lowry, an OC-based artist in the '80s who passed away suddenly in 2009. Curated by Evan Senn, 'Young N Restless' ultimately imagines a non-gender biased art world where women can prevail through their talent and not have to feel young and hopeless about their futures as artists.
