Yanele Mariano Allegedly Tried to Burn House Down with Her Child, Mom, 4 Roomies Inside

We've all had one of those days when you just want to grab some lighter fluid, douse your couch and couch occupant with the flammable milkshake and set the whole damn mofo ablaze.

But would you do it with your mom and 3-year-old child still home?

That's what Yanele Mariano, 22, of Stanton, is accused of doing.

She had allegedly been upset for days with four roommates (in addition to mom and babe) in the house in the 8900 block of Tina Way, so she gave a male on the couch the lighter-fluid shower after 11 a.m. Thursday, walked out and locked the patio gate behind her.

Neighbors quickly arrived at the fire- and smoke-filled home to lead occupants out to safety, according to the Orange County Fire Authority, which reported no injuries, other than to the guy who was burned.

Mariano was being interviewed by authorities on another matter in Covina when it was discovered there was a warrant for her arrest in Orange County, according to the sheriff's department, which later booked her into the Women's Central Jail in Santa Ana on bail of a half million dollars.

She was to be charged with aggravated arson and four counts of attempted murder.
