Xodo Grill, New Brazilian Barbecue, To Open In Orange

Large banners have gone up on a space in Orange that used to be an Italian restaurant advertising Xodó Grill, a churrascaria set to open in the next couple of months. A worker on the scene said the buildout was underway and the owners (whom he wouldn't name) were hoping to open in February, which as we all know, means April.

Should you need to get your fill of salty meat brought by swarthy young
men carrying swords before Xodó (which means “baby”, “darling” or “sweetie” in Portuguese) opens, Orange County has two
churrascarias: Agora in Irvine and Amazon in Fullerton.

Stay tuned here for more information and, of course, once it opens, a
first look. We'll also keep praying to the patron saint of Brazilian
cuisine for a place serving the stews and dishes of northeastern Brazil.
