WTF: Vodka Company Advertises 'Christmas Quality' At 'Hanukkah Pricing' (Then Later Apologizes)

Billboards appeared around New York City (yeah), and featured a dog wearing a Santa hat and another in a yarmulke.

Unsurprisingly, the ad pissed off a lot of New Yorkers and also the Anti-Defamation League, which called the campaign “crude and offensive” in a statement yesterday. Later in the day, Wódka Vodka tweeted that it is pulling the ads: “Although rarely serious, we apologize to anyone we may have offended through our holiday campaign and are removing our billboard immediately.”
And then, presumably, taking vodka shots to celebrate the free press.
