A 77-year-old man was stabbed to death by an underage relative in Cypress on Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
Responding to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 4500 block of Victoria Court around noon, officers found William Tanaka suffering from a stab wound, police say.
Cypress cops and later Orange County Fire Authority paramedics kept the elderly man alive until he could get to a local hospital, where Tanaka was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, officers arrested a boy related to Tanaka, but the suspect’s name was not released due to his age.
He was booked at Orange County Juvenile Hall, but the motive for the slaying remains unclear.
