What: Watch out, Sebastian! Loads of crustaceans will be steamed, buttered and served with coleslaw and watermelon at this beloved annual event.

SATURDAY
What: A festival celebrating everything Japan, including our favorite export: food. The Sake Village features the very rare Jizake, typically only found at microbreweries in Japan.
When: Sat., 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
Where: OC Fairgrounds, Costa Mesa
Cost: $5 adults, $3 kids and seniors. $20 admission to sake village.
What: An opportunity to taste more than 100 craft beers from 50 breweries from SoCal and beyond. For the real beer geeks, there'll be beer seminars and a scavenger hunt for Dogfish Head's supremely-hopped 90 Minute IPA, which will be on tap . . . somewhere.
When: Sat., noon-3 p.m.
Where: Hidden Valley Park, Irvine.
Cost: $40 general admission (includes commemorative glass and 10 four-ounce tastes); $55 VIP (includes commemorative glass, 14 four-ounce tastes, early admission at 11 a.m. and a VIP seminar with Dr. Bill Sysak of Stone Brewing).
SUNDAY
What: This sweet event brings together cupcake lovers of both varieties: those who bake them and those who eat them. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Children of the Night.
When: Sun., noon-2 p.m. (Track A) and 3-5 p.m. (Track B).
Where: Atrium Hotel, Irvine.
Cost: $15 general admission; $5 kids under 5; $30 VIP (includes line pass and gift bag).
What: The final day and grand finale of the six-day sour beer extravaganza features The Bruery's Patrick Rue chatting up his fine Belgian-inspired blends.
When: Sun., 6 p.m.
Where: Beachwood BBQ, Seal Beach.
Cost: Free admission, plus the cost of beer.
