Mitsuwa's Umaimono Gourmet Fair
What: Your must-try ramen for the weekend: sesame-flavored tan tan men, and hot and sour sung hon men, both from Gomaichi, a popular Japanese noodle shop in Honolulu.  
Now through Sunday
Where: Mitsuwa Marketplace, Costa Mesa
Cost: Free entrance

Bootlegger's BOO-ery Party
What's even more fun than drinking beer? Wearing costumes while
drinking beer. The spooktacular night features $5 pints, music, a
costume contest and food from Dos Chinos.
When: Friday, 8:30 p.m.-1 a.m.
Where: Bootlegger's Brewery, Fullerton 
Cost: $10 entrance fee gets you a souvenir Bootlegger's pint glass and one drink ticket. Additional pints are $5. 

POP! Culture & Drinks Grand Opening
What: POP! Culture & Drinks claims to be the first
“'80s-themed tea party lounge,” and for some reason, we don't doubt
them. For its grand opening this weekend, it's handing out free
smoothies, Vietnamese coffee and tea drinks. Check the giveaway schedule for details.
When: Fri. at 5 p.m. through Monday
Where: POP! Culture & Drinks, 9282 Bolsa Ave., Westminster 
Cost: Free entrance

Free Scary Face Pancakes at IHOP
What: No tricks, they say. Just free design-your-own pancakes for kids under 12, as seen in the photo above.
When: Fri., until 10 p.m.
Where: IHOP locations
Cost: Free


Urban Farm Dinner Fundraiser at The Growing Experience
What: Six local chefs, including Greg Daniels of Haven Gastropub
and David Coleman of Michaels on Naples, will use produce grown on the
Long Beach urban farm for a unique, multi-course dinner. 
When: Sat., 5:30-9 p.m.
Where: The Growing Experience Urban Farm, 750 Via Marmelitos, Long Beach

Pumpkins & Pancakes at South Coast Plaza
What: The yummiest part of the annual children's extravaganza–the gourmet pumpkin breakfast from Plum's Café.
When: Sun., 8-11 a.m.
Where: South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa
Cost: $35. Proceeds benefit CASA Orange County, CHOC Children's Foundation and Orangewood Children's Foundation.
