If you're driving in Lake Forest, Mission Viejo or Rancho Santa Margarita today, you may notice more sheriff's patrol cars on the road than usual.
And, if you've been drinking:
1) What are you doing driving, butt wipe?
2) The deputies in those patrol cars are out to get you!
Roving patrols will target areas that have a high incidence of DUI-related arrests and collisions in those cities today, the Orange County Sheriff's Department announced.
The goal is to reduce injuries, deaths and property damage caused by DUI-related collisions, according to the sheriff's office.
Funding for the program is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
