As our sister publication The Pitch reports from Kansas, a 26-year-old man died at the Vans Warped Tour yesterday. The man's name has not been released, and the death was rumored to have been caused by dehydration (maybe due to the fact that water is $4 a bottle at the Warped Tour?).
There has been no confirmation on whether or not dehydration was the cause of the fan's death; however, prior to releasing an official statement, the tour's Twitter account issued the following um, not so tasteful statements on the event:

As the Vans Warped Tour awaits a complete report from the Bonner Springs law enforcement and medical examiner on the passing of a concertgoer at yesterday's (August 2) show in Bonner Springs, KS, the tour would like to offer their thoughts and prayers to the young man's family and friends. Tour organizers are working closely with Capitol Federal Park @ Sandstone staff and local officials to determine the actual facts surrounding this tragic incident and will make further details known as they become available.
