Uriel Ruiz Ricardez was charged Friday with three felony counts of sodomy of a person under 14, five felony counts of lewd acts upon a child under 14, with a sentencing enhancement allegation for committing lewd acts upon multiple victims.

A conviction could send the 24-year-old to state prison for 120 years to life, according to the OCDA, which notes Ricardez was held on $1 million bail pending a Sept. 21 pre-trial hearing in Newport Beach.

Anyone with more information on the crimes or who believes they may they may have been a victim is encouraged to contact OCDA Supervising Investigator Mark Gutierrez at 714.347.8794 or sheriff's Sgt. Wade Walsvick at 714.647.7418.
