[UPDATED with Victim's Silver Lexus Sought:] David Zickman, OC Homicide No. 59: Found Shot Dead on Dogwood


UPDATE, DEC. 15, 3:37 P.M.: Homicide investigators have determined that not only is the killer of David Zickman no where to be found, neither is the 2008 Silver Lexus that belonged to the 28-year-old Anaheim resident. The public's help is being sought in finding the four-dour Lexus IS250 with California license plate 6CUU787, according to an email from Sgt. Bob Dunn, the Anaheim Police spokesman.

Anyone with information about the car's whereabouts–or the killer's, for that matter–is asked to contact homicide detectives at 714.765.1944.


UPDATE, DEC. 6, 9:05 A.M.: The man found shot to death in the
driveway of a home in the 2600 block of West Dogwood Avenue in Anaheim
Saturday morning has been identified as David Zickman, 28, of Anaheim. Police say the residence was not Zickman's but vacant.

Detectives are not sure if Zickman was shot to death at the location or moved there. Missing personal items lead them to conclude this may have been a robbery-murder, according to Anaheim Police spokesman Sgt. Rick Martinez.

ORIGINAL POST, DEC. 5, 2:57 P.M.: The body of a man estimated to be in his mid-20s to early 30s was found
in the driveway of a home in the 2600 block of West Dogwood Avenue in
Anaheim Saturday morning.

He'd been shot in the upper torso, according to Anaheim Police.

The body was reported to the police agency at 7:48 a.m. Anyone with information that can help homicide investigators is asked to call 714.765.1900.
