UPDATE, April 14, 9:58 a.m.: In a phone conversation, Suzanne Thoreson, Chief Operating Officer of Staff Pro (the company whose uniform is being sold online) said that the said uniform was stolen, the logo trademarked and that an investigation is ongoing. Further than saying nothing like this has ever happened to Staff Pro before, she had “no comment,” meaning we couldn't get answers to questions such as “What is the possibility that this scam will work?” or “How will they ferret out an impostor?” or “What is the face value of that outfit?”
ORIGINAL POST, April 13, 1:08 p.m.: Just what would you do for Coachella tickets? Someone on Palm Springs-Craigslist is selling the Coachella security uniform for $250. Apparently it's the same one that's been used by security officers at Indio for three years now, both at Coachella and Stagecoach festivals, and as the ad purports that it's pretty much equivalent to an all-access pass for all three days. Check out the whole ad after the jump.
The ad also says it's probably going to be the same uniform to be used at Big 4 (to be held at the polo grounds on April 23.) Just how illegal is this post, anyway?
