UPDATE, MAY 31, 12:58 P.M.: The woman who was killed in Thursday night's presumed murder-suicide in the 6100 block of Navajo Road in Westminster has been identified as Vanessa Munoz, 23.
The doctor's office employ and her unemployed 34-year-old brother, Frank Munoz, had been arguing for several days about his contributions to the family when he allegedly shot his sister to death in the hallway of their mother's home before fatally shooting himself in the backyard, police say.

An Orange County Register report links Frank Munoz to several run-ins with the law, including past charges, fines, jail sentences and probation for petty theft, carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle, misdemeanor possession of a deadly
weapon, misdemeanor driving under the
influence of alcohol or drugs and misdemeanor possession of less than one ounce of marijuana by a driver.
The siblings mother reported the murder of Vanessa by Frank to Westminster police. Officers were on their way to the home when the man is said to have taken his own life.
ORIGINAL POST, MAY 26, 8:53 A.M.: A call came in about five to six gunshots late Thursday night in the 6100 block of Navajo Road in Westminster.
Officers arrived at the front yard of a home to find a mother who said his son had just killed her daughter.
Inside the home, cops found the body of a 24 23-year-old woman in the
hallway. She was the victim of a gunshot. The body of her 32-year-old
brother was then found in the backyard. He was the victim of a
self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to a statement from Cpl. Van Woodson.
The siblings were heard arguing before the shooting. A handgun was recovered at the scene.
