UPDATE, SEPT. 27, 2:50 P.M.: Huntington Beach Police have identified the woman whose body was found fully clothed at the state beach near Magnolia Street Monday morning as Myphuong Tran, 30, of La Habra.
A police spokesman says initial indications are Tran drowned and that nothing suspicious is present to make this a criminal case.

ORIGINAL POST, SEPT. 26, 11:23 A.M.: The body of a 20-year-old woman was found at Huntington State Beach this
morning, and police are only saying so far her death was suspicious.
A lifeguard reported the woman's body around 7 a.m. near Magnolia Street.
A Huntington Beach Police Department spokesman says at this time it remains unclear how the woman died, adding that the case has not been deemed a homicide.
