UPDATE, DEC. 27, 3:25 P.M.: An Orange County District Attorney's office (OCDA) statement on the charges against the suspected murderer of Huntington Beach's Dylan James Austin, 19, identifies him as Jesse Shockey, 16, of Garden Grove.
The OCDA also reveals Shockey will be tried as an adult on one felony count of murder and a sentencing enhancement for the personal
use of a deadly weapon.

If convicted, Shockey faces a maximum sentence of 26 years to life in state prison. He is currently being held in lieu of $1 million bail as he awaits continued arraignment on Jan. 17 in Santa Ana.
On Wednesday, Austin was stabbed to death in Huntington Beach's Lake View Park. According to the OCDA statement, Austin had argued with Shockey in the same park about two weeks before the slaying.
Shockey and Austin had friends with them when they again got into an argument in the park last Wednesday when, around 9:40 p.m., a physical fight escalated with Shockey allegedly taking out a knife and stabbing Austin one time in the chest before the accused attacker and his co-horts scattered.

UPDATE, DEC. 22, 5:35 P.M.: The 19-year-old Huntington Beach man stabbed to death last night at
Lark View Park has been identified as Dylan James Austin.
While
police initially detained two adults and two teens this morning in
connection with the homicide, only a 16-year-old boy is now being held
for Austin's murder.
UPDATE, DEC. 22, 5:28 P.M.: Thanks partly to descriptions
provided to Huntington Beach police officers responding to last night's
stabbing death of a 19-year-old man at
Lark View Park, detectives at 10:30 this morning stopped a car near
Garden Grove
Boulevard and Gilbert Avenue in Garden Grove and arrested two adults and
two
juveniles in connection with the murder.
A bloody knife believed to have been used in the crime was also recovered, according to the HBPD Facebook page, which adds there are no known suspects outstanding
The dead teen was identified as a Huntington Beach resident. While his next of kin have been notified, police are still withholding his name as part of the “active investigation,” the agency notes.
ORIGINAL POST, DEC. 22, 10:49 A.M.: Residents of the 17000 block of Fraser Lane, a nice and quiet neighborhood in Huntington Beach, heard loud noises coming from adjacent Lake View Park around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Those who went there to investigate found only a young man–on the ground bleeding to death.
Among those who checked him out was a nurse who discovered multiple stab wounds to his torso. Identified only as a young man, he was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
