UPDATE, JAN. 17, 3:32 P.M.: The Orange County Sheriff's Department bomb squad gave the all-clear this morning after examining the suspicious package with “bomb” written across it outside the Social Security Administration office in Anaheim.
Reassuring: Anaheim Police say the package contained no bomb.
Not so much: They aren't yet saying what was inside.

ORIGINAL POST, JAN. 17, 10:19 A.M.: A suspicious package was discovered in front of the Social Security Administration office in Anaheim this morning.

suspicious than most suspicious packages, this one left in front of the
office at 900 S. Harbor Blvd. had the word “bomb” written across it.
The 7:40 a.m. call prompted the closure of Harbor from Vermont Avenue to Ball Road.
The bomb squad was investigating. More details when they come . . .
